Something is off with the Suzette stitch tutorial. If you start with an odd number of stitches you end up with a single stitch at the end of the first row. Is something missing from the instructions or should the staring chain be any EVEN number of stitches?🤷‍♀️

Change your hook. Clover hooks really well designed. Personally, I can’t stand metal hooks with any kind of yarn bc it catches. I’ve used this yarn with a 4mm hook clover hook.

I can’t express how hard it is for me to listen to her and the music while I’m trying to watch what she is doing and do it myself. All I want to do is print this on paper so that I can do it at my own pace. I have plenty of experience with crochet but this is a whole new level of challenge. Am I the only one?

I don't know what you doing with that basket but you can just use a jar of acrylic gel medium on the inside.. Apply and leave to dry. It's cheap, it will be stiff but it's not ideal if need to wash it often. There's other ways to make that basket stand up straight... A thin wire weaved into top and bottom rim and then a few vertical pieces of wire on the sides.
